Truth is, players have competed and outplayed us, VALORANT. We gave them a defensive sentinel agent, they gave us Battle Sage. They also gave us one-way smokes, twerking Gekkos and faking Yoru clones. Sometimes they make even better trailers than us.
We couldn't have imagined the possibilities the players have taken us when we imagined VALORANT. They defied our expectations at every opportunity. They are just built different. This act, we gave recognition to players with their creative outplays.

This trailer recreates all the mind-breaking plays that inspired the community to play differently, featuring iconic moments from different parts of the world.

While giving credit where its due, the recreation also features battlepass and the new skinline that has been a long time requests from fans: pink skins.

To further demonstrate creative outplays, we took the official ability showcases from playvalorant.com and benchmark it with how the community has improvised.

We all knew VALORANT players best embody the spirit of Defy the limits, this time we showed everyone how the players actually do it, across different agents.

This act also comes with a new map, its our love letter to the competitive community: a challenge in the form of new angles and death ledges. But unlike previous map launches, we wrote the entire action sequence of this film and choreograph it based on how a player will experience in-game.

Continuing the campaign idea here, this trailer also featured innovative use of agent abilities for the first time, which were inspired by actual creative outplays from our players, hence cannonizing them in the world of VALORANT. The trailer ends with a teaser to the next agent, continuing the 2024 story arc.

THE BIG STAGE FOR THE BIG LAUNCH

We debut the map and the cinematic trailer on the Grand Finals day of Masters Shanghai. Two teams pit against each other in an exhibition showmatch.

Living up to their name, these streamers from around the world demonstrated some jaw-dropping creative outplays of the map debut right off the bat.
